Honestly

For those who are wondering how I am handling the chemo, honestly, praise God, I am doing very well considering my body is being invaded by toxic chemicals. The antiemetics (anti-nausea drugs) are doing their work. I was a little queasy after eating some greasy (but yummy) pork sausage with breakfast one morning, but otherwise all is well on the barfing front. I expected to be throwing up on a regular basis, so not doing so is a pleasant surprise.

  1. Hello Cousin,
A bone marrow biopsy sounds like something the creepy bad guy does in a teen horror scarefest movie. Did you scream? Good golly--just reading about it made me scream. I thought a spinal tap was bad.

You have a great writing style--honest, clear and descriptive. You mentioned a seminary earlier--are you a teacher there?

Time to feed the birds, bunnies, squirrels, mice, dogs, a cat and a husband. I send you positive thoughts--Tamra

the basis for the summer's Teen Horror Scarefest movie.

  2. I'm on the journey with you. As I pack, God
keeps bringing you to mind. I am so happy about only a little naseau. (SP?) That is my least favorite pain. It is just aweful. Praise God He protected you. We leave this place on Tuesday. So good to be able to see our kids all settled. You are loved and not on this journey alone.
